1 infinite loop

I'm enjoying since thursday my lines-less iMac. And I'm making a post out of it? YES. I want to encourage iMac owners with this deffect to call. Call now! It's that easy.

Call and don't desist! The loop ends at some point. Don't you really want to enjoy your mac again? :)

I have my appointment scheduled for Monday and they stated that they will cover both parts and labor. I'm sooo ecstatic about this! Too everyone else out there believe what he says! You too can get it repaired like I am! Apple ROCKS!

I had 73 lines and after your reading your post that you called and they agreed to fix it, I called as well. After speaking to two people, they agreed to fix it at no charge. I just got it back today from the Apple store. It's great to have it back.

Call and don't give up. They will fix it.

I'd like to thank you for getting the word out. I've got an appointment for tomorrow and Apple is going to cover the cost. Knowing that others have succeeded is what pushed me to keep calling Apple. Thanks!

OK I got the iMac back and have 4 dead pixels now on the lcd since I got it home yesterday. I also notice that the lcd seems a bit darker than before and now my fan is alot louder than when I had it originally. This has been only 1 day since I got it back from the Apple store. I'm starting to think that Apple used a refurbished lcd that didn't have all the kinks worked out. Still the lcd looks fantastic, but when it goes too a black screen on my screen saver you'll easy see the white dead pixels stand out brightly. I called Apple tech support and they stated that I would have to make yet another appointment with them too have it looked at again. Only problem is that the Apple store is about 2 hours away. So yes I am currently a little disappointed, but I'll will be making the trip again tomorrow. Does anyone know what Apple warrants the replacement screens for when you get them back? If you have any details please let me know.. I can be reached at countrycub23@yahoo.com.

I've got all lines on my imac. I've talked to the apple store and no one called back. It's on to corporate!!
